Cable Preacher Curl

This exercise works your bicep muscles. You use a cable machine and a special pad to rest your arms. It helps you use good form and keeps your muscles working hard the entire time.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the machine so the arm pad is at the same height as your chest.
  2. 2Sit on the bench and rest your upper arms on the pad. Hold the handle with your palms facing up.
  3. 3Sit up straight and keep your elbows close to your sides on the pad.
  4. 4Slowly pull the handle up toward your shoulders. Squeeze your biceps at the top.
  5. 5Stop for a second, then slowly lower the handle back to where you started.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you chose.
