Cable One Arm Bent Over Row

This is a single-arm pulling exercise for your upper back. You use a cable machine to do it. It helps your stomach muscles stay strong and improves how your body moves together. You must move slowly and carefully to do it right.

Cable One Arm Bent Over Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand in front of a cable machine with your feet as wide as your shoulders.
  2. 2Bend your knees a little and lean forward at your hips, keeping your back flat.
  3. 3Hold the cable handle with one hand, palm facing in, and straighten your arm completely.
  4. 4Pull the handle to your body until your hand is near your lower chest, keeping your elbow close to your ribs.
  5. 5Stop for a second, then slowly straighten your arm back to where you started.
  6. 6Do this for the number of times you want, then do the same with the other arm.
