Cable Lying Fly

This exercise works your chest muscles. You lie on a bench and use a cable machine. It also uses your shoulders and arms a little bit. You lower your arms wide to the sides and then bring them back together to squeeze your chest.

How to Perform

  1. 1Put the handles on the cable machine. Lie on your back on a bench and keep your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the handles so your palms look at each other. Reach your arms straight up over your chest.
  3. 3Bend your elbows just a little. Lower your arms wide to the sides in a big circle until you feel a stretch in your chest.
  4. 4Stop for a second. Then, squeeze your chest muscles to pull your arms back up to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you need.
