Cable Low Seated Row

This exercise strengthens your upper back using a cable machine. It also works your biceps and arm muscles. To do it, sit down and pull the handles toward your body while keeping your back straight and squeezing your shoulder blades together.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the machine with your feet flat on the rests and your knees bent a little bit.
  2. 2Hold the handles so your palms are facing down.
  3. 3Keep your back straight, lean forward slightly, and keep a small bend in your elbows.
  4. 4Pull the handles toward your body and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. 5Stop for a moment when you pull back, then slowly let the handles go back to where you started.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
