Cable Kneeling Crunch

This exercise works your stomach muscles using a cable machine. You kneel down holding a rope behind your head, then bend your upper body forward and down. This movement helps strengthen your abs and the sides of your waist.

Cable Kneeling Crunch demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Put a rope handle on the high pulley of the machine and kneel on the floor with your back to the machine.
  2. 2Grab the rope with both hands, pull it behind your head, and keep your elbows wide.
  3. 3Keep your hips frozen in one spot, then bend your waist to curl your chest down toward your legs.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the bottom, then slowly go back up to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for the number of times you want.
