Cable Incline Bench Press

This chest workout is done on a slanted bench using cable handles. It focuses on the upper chest muscles but also works the shoulders and the back of the arms. The cables create steady tension the whole time, which is great for building strength and muscle in the upper chest.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the bench to a 45-degree slant.
  2. 2Connect the handles to the top pulleys.
  3. 3Sit on the bench looking at the machine with your feet flat on the floor.
  4. 4Hold the handles with palms facing down and bring them to shoulder level.
  5. 5Push the handles forward and up until your arms are straight.
  6. 6Wait a moment, then slowly lower the handles back to the start.
  7. 7Do this again for as many reps as needed.
