Bodyweight Standing Row (with Towel)

This exercise uses a simple towel to help strengthen your upper back, shoulders, and arms. To do it, you pull the towel toward your chest while keeping your body steady and your back straight.

Bodyweight Standing Row (with Towel) demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart and hold a towel with both hands in front of you.
  2. 2Bend your knees a little and lean your upper body forward, making sure your back stays flat like a table.
  3. 3Pull the towel up to your chest and squeeze your shoulder blades together tight.
  4. 4Stop for a moment, then slowly lower your arms back to where they started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
