Bodyweight Standing Close-grip Row

This exercise works your upper back using your body weight. You stand and lean forward, then pull a bar or handles toward your body. As you pull, you squeeze your shoulder blades together.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees a little bent.
  2. 2Lean forward from your waist. Keep your back flat and your tummy muscles tight.
  3. 3Reach your arms straight out in front. Hold the bar or handles with your hands close together.
  4. 4Pull the bar or handles to your body. Squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top. Then, slowly move your arms back to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
