Barbell Wrist Curl V. 2

This exercise strengthens your forearm muscles. You sit down and rest your arms on your legs, letting your wrists hang over your knees. You then use your wrists to slowly lift and lower a barbell.

Barbell Wrist Curl V. 2 demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the barbell with both hands, palms facing up, about shoulder-width apart.
  3. 3Place your forearms on your thighs so your wrists hang off the edge of your knees.
  4. 4Slowly curl your wrists upward to lift the barbell.
  5. 5Pause briefly at the top.
  6. 6Slowly lower the barbell back down to where you started.
  7. 7Repeat this movement for your set.
