Barbell Standing Rocking Leg Calf Raise

This exercise works your calf muscles and the front of your lower legs. You stand holding a bar on your shoulders, then lift your heels up high. After lowering your heels, you rock back to lift your toes up off the ground.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold the barbell firmly on your upper back.
  2. 2Push down with your toes to lift your heels up as high as you can.
  3. 3Slowly lower your heels back down to the floor.
  4. 4Without stopping, rock back on your heels to lift your toes up off the ground.
  5. 5Lower your toes back to the floor to finish one repetition.
