Barbell Lying Back Of The Head Tricep Extension

This is a triceps muscle exercise done while lying on a bench. You lower a barbell behind your head and then lift it back up to work the back of your arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back on a bench with your head near the edge and feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the bar with your hands apart as wide as your shoulders and lift it straight up over your chest.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms still and bend only your elbows to slowly lower the bar behind your head.
  4. 4Stop for a short time, then push the bar back up to where you started.
