Barbell Full Zercher Squat

This is a lower body exercise where you hold a barbell inside the bends of your elbows. It works your butt, legs, and stomach muscles. You need a strong core to stay steady because of where you hold the bar.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart as wide as your shoulders. Point your toes out a little bit.
  2. 2Hold the barbell in the bends of your elbows. Hold onto the bar with your hands to keep it safe.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles and keep your chest up. Lower your hips back and down like you are sitting in a chair.
  4. 4Keep your knees pointed the same way as your toes. Keep your body weight in your heels.
  5. 5Go down until your upper legs are flat like a table, or as low as feels okay.
  6. 6Push down through your heels to stand up again. Squeeze your butt muscles when you get to the top.
  7. 7Do this again for as many times as you need to.
