Balance Board

This exercise is balancing on one leg on a wobbly board. It makes your stomach and leg muscles work hard to keep you steady. It mainly strengthens the front of your thighs but also works your calves, back of your thighs, and bottom.

How to Perform

  1. 1Put the board on a flat floor.
  2. 2Step on the center of the board with one foot.
  3. 3Slowly put all your weight on that foot while tightening your stomach muscles.
  4. 4Stand tall and try not to fall for as long as you want.
  5. 5Do the same thing with your other foot.
