Assisted Prone Lying Quads Stretch

This is a simple stretch for the front of your thigh called the quadriceps. You lie on your stomach and gently pull your foot toward your bottom to feel the stretch.

Assisted Prone Lying Quads Stretch demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie flat on your stomach with your legs straight.
  2. 2Bend your left knee and reach back with your left hand to hold your left foot or ankle.
  3. 3Slowly pull your left foot closer to your bottom until you feel a stretch in the front of your left thigh.
  4. 4Stay in this position for 20 to 30 seconds, then let go.
  5. 5Do the same steps with your right leg.
