3/4 Sit-up

The 3/4 sit-up is a bodyweight exercise for your stomach muscles. You curl your upper body up about halfway. This uses your abs and lower back to make your core strong.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Put your hands behind your head. Keep your elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles. Slowly curl your upper body up until you are halfway up (about 45 degrees).
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top. Slowly lower your body back down to the floor.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you want.
